Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash involving a charter bus near Pipestone, Minnesota.

The Pipestone County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened about 4 p.m. at Highway 23 and 70th Avenue just outside of Pipestone.

Rescue crews from Pipestone, Jasper, and Edgerton are on the scene.

A man whose son was on the bus tells KSFY the bus comes out of Sioux Falls every day and takes workers to Suzlan in Pipestone.

We're told the people that were on the bus are being taken back there.

We don't have the extent of injuries confirmed yet, the State Highway Patrol in Minnesota is handling the investigation.
