A report of shots being fired in a northwest Iowa community leads to a stand-off and an arrest while in Sioux Falls, another case of shots fired is under investigation.

Officers were called to a mobile home in the 300 block of East 7th street in Sanborn, Iowa last night after neighbors reported gunshots.

What followed was a stand-off with 27 year old Timothy Warden, who was later taken into custody and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and marijuana possession.

In Sioux Falls, police hope another case involving gunshots doesn't go cold:

Someone shot into a home near 18th street and South Prairie on June 20th: people were inside at the time but no one was hurt.

New vandalism reports tonight from Worthington where two cars in the 1900 block of Summit Avenue and one car in the 2200 block of Circle Drive were vandalized Monday.

Someone playing with big time fireworks vandalized Falls Park in Sioux Falls last night, using some type of explosive to damage restrooms at the park. No dollar amount on the damage.

We do know 400 dollars in damage was done to two homes in the 1100 block of Burleigh in Yankton, after rocks were thrown at the homes. a juvenile suspect was arrested.
