Two people have been arrested for an armed robbery at a Vermillion pharmacy Tuesday night.

Police say 25-year-old Matthew Doolin and 26-year-old Julie Doolin of Mountain View, Arkansas held up the Davis pharmacy around nine Tuesday evening. When they fled the scene, they were armed with handguns. 

A short while later, they were spotted by an officer in Sioux City's north-side. They were arrested and now face robbery, kidnapping, and drug charges.

Davis Pharmacy employee Ed Paquette told KSFY that the robbers actually called the store beforehand to find out when the it closed. They were interested if they had oxycontin and another drug on hand.

"They made up some lies about, you know, this is why I need these drugs and are you going to have to order them or are they on hand. So they knew, so we were nervous about that already," said Paquette.
