Third Person Dies After Crash Near Parker

A third person has died as a result of a crash near Parker, SD.

A third person has died as a result of a crash near Parker last month.

63-year-old Charles Sorenson of Viborg has died as a result of his injuries. His girlfriend, 60-year-old Loretta Trenerry of Davis and 16-year-old Joshua Nelson of Freeman had also died in the accident.

Investigators say Nelson drove through a stop sign and collided with Sorenson's car.

This is indeed a sad ending to a tragic event. Growing up in rural South Dakota, I have seen many close calls due to incidents just like this. Please people, drive defensively and obey traffic laws....especially in the rural areas!
