Ellsworth Airmen Preparing for Deployment

More than 200 members of the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth Air Force Base are preparing for deployment to Southwest Asia.

The latest group being sent overseas will support the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing and includes B-1 bombers, air crews, maintainers and other expeditionary combat personnel.  Air Force officials say B-1 bombers provide critical long-range strike capability in in Iraq and Afghanistan.
