Man Reports Burglary, Gets Arrested

A Brookings man who called police to report a burglary ended up getting arrested.  Police sergeant Joey Collins says the man told police someone had broken into his residence and stolen cash and CDs.

Collins says the investigation determined that it actually was cash and drugs that had been stolen.  Police executed a search warrant. Drug charges are pending against the unidentified man.
