Lincoln County State's Attorney Tom Wollman says a registered sex offender was arrested yesterday after police in Tea say he was spending too much time near a day care in Tea. 

41-year-old Joseph Lewis Panaia, Jr. was charged with violation of the community safety zone by a registered sex offender.  Panaia was convicted of indecent exposure in 2003.

He's currently out on bond.

He's out on bond. Lovely. Gives him even more time to stalk other daycares and playgrounds. How wonderful (said in the most incredulous, sarcastic way) that a convicted sex offender's "rights" trump the safety of our children. Parents, never let your babies out of your sight.
