Lower Gas Prices In Aberdeen

By Dawn Crawley

The price of gas has already gone down to $3.45 in Aberdeen.  That's less pain at the pump for people in the Hub City.

Gas prices in Aberdeen have dropped.  That's keeping customers happy but many are wondering why the prices are so low.

"A lot of what dictates the price of gas is obviously the price of crude per barrel and that's gone down significantly," says Claude Kraft, owner of CK's.

Prices around town are looking reasonable.  Richard Squire says, "Boy they sure have come down a lot and it's a lot nicer to fill at 3.45 than at four dollars."

"It's great we're getting ready to head out camping so it makes it a lot easier," says Eric Gray.

Other areas of the state are still paying higher prices, so why is Aberdeen lower?

"Here locally we can't really tell you exactly for sure what's going on with that other than to say it's great for the customers."
