Day County Travel Advisory

By Chris Studer

There's no travel advised this morning in Day County, South Dakota, after severe storms rolled through the area Thursday morning. Day County is in northeastern South Dakota. The Day County Sheriff's Department is advising no travel because of debris and downed power lines. They say it's just too dangerous to be out on the roads.

The Aberdeen area saw some strong winds as well, and there are reports of widespread damage in that area.  The Brown County Red Cross will assist victims who have uninhabitable homes due to the storm.  If you need assistance, you're asked to contact them directly at 225-9664.

If you have any pictures of the storm or the damage left behind, e-mail them to youask@ksfy.com, Or, post your video to our YouNewsTV section at:  http://www.ksfy.com/younews?form=post
