24-year-old Olga Franco faces four counts of homicide and 20 more charges related to the crash that killed four children and injured sixteen others.  Franco's attorneys say in their closing statements that she wasn't driving the minivan, instead it was her boyfriend, Francisco S. Mendoza.

Mendoza is believed to be back in his native Mexico. The defense says his running away is a sign of his guilt.  Lyon County Attorney Rick Maes noted in his closing that the accident pinned Franco in the driver's seat and she had to extricated from the van.

KSFY has a crew in Willmar and will bring you the verdict as soon as it is released.
