The first winter weather of the season is expected in western South Dakota.

Snow is expected to develop tonight and continue into Sunday morning. Amounts of 6 inches or more are possible in northwest South Dakota and in the Black Hills.  A winter storm watch has been issued for Belle Fourche, Spearfish, Buffalo and the Black Hills from Saturday evening through late Saturday night.
