Big Game Violations

By Associated Press

State Wildlife Conservation Officer Don McCrea says four people have been ticketed for big-game violations in north central South Dakota within the past week or so.

He says two Mobridge men could see up to 12 different charges each of illegally hunting antelope in Dewey County. And two  Wisconsin men were charged in a similar incident on tribal land in Corson County.  McCrea, of Fort Pierre, says a conservation officer nabbed the Mobridge men when they were spotted shooting antelope.

He says officers can't catch all the offenders and need help from the public.
