By KSFY News

A Sioux Falls day care provider has been indicted for abusing a baby in her care.  The alleged abuse happened at Pam Anderson's in-home day care on South Avondale Avenue.

The charges involved a 12-week-old baby boy.  Anderson faces one count of child abuse and three counts of simple assault.

I take my kids to a WONDERFUL in home daycare provider. I choose to take my kids to day care. Some stay at home moms feel the need to justify staying home to everyone. To each his own. I could stay home, but I also choose to work. There are plenty of moms who harm their own children too... note other recent headlines. Kudos to the wonderful providers that choose to provide in home day care. I would never send my children to a chaotic day care center. I was horrified when I did. To each his own!

this lady has issues and shouldn't be aloud to care for kids. I'm a day care provider so hey back off not all of us are bad just like not all moms are bad but some of you are.

I am also a stay at home mom. I have to make extreme sacrifices. However, they are all worth it just to know my children are safe and being raised the way I prefer.

If you "wish" you could stay at home than why not open your own daycare?

good for you. i wish i could stay home too. i had a daycare lady pinch my son on his belly back and thighs. he was terrified of diaper changes. i changed to have him at my best friend's house. he is bruise free now and happy to have his diaper changed. you do never know. no proof of abuse and my sister's kids are still there. she does not believe the bruises are from the old daycare lady. i know they are in my heart i know she hurt my baby.
