Volleyball State Tourney Begins

South Dakota's best high school volleyball teams are in Rapid City for the state tournament.

Matches begin at noon Thursday on three courts in the Rushmore
Plaza Civic Center. Championship matches in the three enrollment
divisions are scheduled for 3 p.m., 5 and 7 on Saturday.

Last year's champions were Rapid City Stevens, Sioux Falls
Christian and Warner. Stevens and Sioux Falls Christian qualified
for the tournament again this year, but Warner did not.
