John Midmore Released

John Midmore of Valparaiso, Ind., was found not guilty of sparking a 2006 gunfight at Custer State Park during the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

By Associated Press

One of two Hells Angels bikers acquitted of attempted murder is out of jail and the other should find out Friday if he'll be released.

Jurors in Sioux Falls found Chad Wilson of San Diego and John
Midmore of Valparaiso, Ind., not guilty of sparking a 2006 gunfight
at Custer State Park during the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

Prosecutors said the men tried to kill three Outlaws bikers and
two women, but Wilson testified he fired in self-defense.

Jail staff and a defense attorney said Midmore was released on
bond Thursday night.

The attorney said bond was also posted for Wilson, but he first
must meet with immigration officials Friday because he's a Canadian
citizen.

Midmore has dual citizenship in Canada and Australia but is a
resident alien.

Another criminal on the streets. Good thing the Sioux Falls PD just spent 250 thousand dollars on an vehicle that protects soldiers from roadside bombs.

Is the money brought into the state from the Sturgis rally really worth it? I wish they would cancel the rally and keep these pieces of garbage out of here.
