SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A federal judge has ordered a Sioux Falls trucking company to pull its rigs from the road because it's not carrying liability insurance.

Action Carrier already was on probation because of earlier violations. The judge granted a motion by U.S. Transportation Secretary Mary
Peters for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against the motor carrier. A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at the federal courthouse in Sioux Falls.

Action Carrier owner Michael Walsh did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment. In October 2005, he and the company were put on probation for five years, fined more than $200,000 and ordered to pay more than $126,000 in restitution.

Maybe somebody should check into the other stuff he does too...bounced checks, nonpayment of taxes, no registrations on the trucks, .... anybody else would be in jail, who's he got in his pocket?
