South Dakota state government employees are being asked to donate shoes to help support the Samaritan's Feet project.

South Dakota State University men's head basketball coach Scott Nagy is gathering shoes for the project.

Bureau of Administration Commissioner Jeff Bloomberg says new or nearly new shoes, adult sizes 3 to 9, are needed.

He says many state agencies are getting involved.
