By Associated Press

A grand jury has indicted David Amotun on murder charges in the death of an 18-year-old in
Watertown.
The prosecutor's office said the 21-year-old Amotun was indicted
on alternate charges of first-degree murder and second-degree
murder, plus grand theft.
He's accused of killing Brandy Cotton, with whom he once had a
relationship. She was found dead Jan. 30 in her grandmother's house
in Watertown.
Amotun was arrested early the next morning in Sioux Falls.
