Bank Robbery in Warner, SD
First State Bank of Warner Three men are in custody following a bank robbery in Warner, SD Friday afternoon. The first State Bank of Warner was robbed at about 1:20 PM Friday afternoon. Three men walked into the bank with handguns, placed three employees and a customer in the bank’s vault, and left with an undisclosed amount of money. They headed east on highway 12 and law enforcement spotted them near Webster. After a high speed chase, the three men were taken into custody. No one at the bank was hurt. Trooper from Sisseton area spiked at intersection of US 12 & 81. 3 hispanic males, driving pickup with no plates. DCI stopped truck and tried to remove driver and truck speed away.
