One man is dead after a standoff in Hudson, SD this morning.

A standoff that lasted for nearly five hours has ended with one person dead this morning. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Dept., the victim died of a self inflicted gunshot wound. Several law enforcement agencies had been on the scene since just after 3AM surrounding several buildings and blocking off several blocks of the downtown area.
