Police in Huron are investigating what could be their third murder of this year.

Police say a man was shot to death in a the Prairie Villa Mobile Home Park at 1400 21st Street Southwest in Huron about 5:30 Thursday night.

Action News talked to officials from the Huron Police Department as well as the Beadle County Sheriff's Office Friday morning and we're told no arrests have been made.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how and why Huron's third shooting death this year took place.

For Leroy and Mavis Flattum, the string of shootings has become a harsh reality check.

"It used to be a nice little city. You didn't lock your doors, your trust your neighbors..."what's going on, you know?" said Leroy Flattum.

"You just don't know from day to day. So it makes you wonder...start locking your doors at night," said Mavis Flattum.
