Police have released the name of the man who was shot and killed in Huron last night.  Authorities found 23 year old Ricardo "R.J." Heine lying dead in a mobile home on the southwest side of town.

According to today's press release, law enforcement agencies in Huron are still investigating a shooting death that took place at 151 this is Prairie Villa Court.  Now according to the press release a woman placed a 911 call to the police dispatch center at 5:31 stating that someone had tried to break into their home and that the intruder may have been shot.

It was clear that the Division of Criminal Investigation was still trying to put the pieces of this fatal shooting together as they worked well into Friday.

Beadle County States Attorney Mike Moore said this morning there's a lot of work yet to be done.  "When you get into an investigation like this one they're just looking for just about everything.  They're trying to interview anybody with any knowledge of the situation, at the crime scene, any kind of evidence they can."

There have been no arrests made at this time but authorities are telling us that the victim knew the shooter.  Past that they didn't share much more information.  "It's kind of premature for us to speculate on what the results show us without knowing what the results are," stated Moore.
