A Worthington man is sitting in an Iowa jail tonight on drug charges.

Early this morning, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office pulled over 20 year old Blaine Collin in Sibley, IA.

Shortly thereafter, they arrested him for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Collin remains in jail on a $1300 cash bond.

Hopefully the reason it is in the news is to get a name out in public. Users deserve to be embarrassed, which they wouldn't be anyway, I guess, they are drugged. Possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia may be common, but that does not mean it is acceptable, and law-abiding citizens are thoroughly disgusted by it. Users cost our society far more than speeders in terms of human suffering and low productivity in the workplace. Great job, Osceola Sheriff's Department!
