Brewster Explosion

By KSFY Staff

Everyone is safe and back in their homes after a Brewster fire prompted an evacuation.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Dave McNab, the incident remains under investigation. He tells Action News the State Fire Marshal has been contacted, and should arrive on scene Sunday.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, an explosion at Minnestoa Soybean Processors Plant caused law enforcement to order an evacuation of Brewster, MN.

Evacuees were taken to the American Reformed Church in Worthington, and were allowed to return home shortly before 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

At this time, a cause of the explosion and ensuing fire have not been determined.

Law enforcement officials say the initial 911 call was made by employees of the plant. By 1:30 a.m. all persons had been accounted for, and no injuries were reported.

According to the story, the cause of the explosion has yet to be determined. Bin Laden hates us all. I'm sure it hasn't been ruled out as a possibility.

This should be a reminder to us that terrorism is real, Al-Queda and Bin Laden still hate us, and Obama's policies can't keep America safe.
