People who live in Brewster, MN are back home after a huge fire at a soybean processing plant forced the entire town to evacuate.

Firefighters and county sheriff officials actually went door-to-door and asked people to leave the town.

Mayor Randy Schmitz lives less than one mile from the plant. He said, "It doesn't really hit you right then, you know, because you don't know what will happen. We knew there was a large fire out there but we're just glad they got it contained as soon as they did."

The fire drew over 20 law, fire, and rescue agencies to put out the fire.

Deputy State Fire Marshall Investigator Steve Kellen says that the inspection team will be focusing initially on electrical panels and circuits as the cause of the fire.

"Until we get everybody coordinated, we're going to be sitting here at a little standstill for a day or two; but I suspect by Tuesday we're going to be in full gear," said Kellen.
