About 50 pounds of marijuana and 2 and a half ounces of heroin were seized on Wednesday in Brule County. The seizure was on interstate 90 and within the city limits of Chamberlain and the vehicle was originally stopped for a traffic violation.

The value of the marijuana is one-quarter million dollars and the heroin is worth about fifteen hundred dollars.

Two handguns were also found and the driver is being held on multiple drug charges.
