Nebraska Storm Chaser Gets Too Close To Huge Tornado

By Stephanie Freeman

We haven't been the only ones dealing with severe weather.
Wednesday night, some storm chasers caught up with a large tornado that touched down west of Aurora, Nebraska.

"It is now a half mile wide... It is huge... Oh! We've got debris coming off... We've got structural damage. We've got damage on this building.... It is tearing this building apart! Debris in the air!"

The National Weather Service says the large tornado touched down at about 9:20 p-m last night.
Aurora's mayor says the tornado damaged the P&G Pet Care Plant... also known as the Iams Plant... about five miles west of town.

"Literally in front of my eyes... Look at this! It is tearing this building apart!"

Clean up is still underway in Aurora... luckily no injuries have been reported from this tornado.
