The Idaho town of Lewiston ranked No. 1 on a list of top places to live for hunting and fishing. Pierre, S.D., was No. 8 on the list.

Outdoor Life magazine used data to score 200 towns on available sporting opportunities and quality-of-life measures like good homes, schools and jobs.

Marquette, Mich., the easternmost town in the top 10, was ranked
second. Idaho Falls, Idaho and Rawlins, Wyo., tied for third,
followed by Pocatello, Idaho.

Bismarck, N.D., was sixth, followed by Sheridan, Wyo. Following
Pierre were No. 9 Rochester, Minn., and No. 10 Carbondale, Colo.
