Girl Nearly Drowns In Watertown

A lifeguard saved a young girl today at the Watertown Family Aquatic Center. This was after an 8 year old boy nearly drowned after falling into the Big Sioux River at Falls Park. Action News Reporter Kent Erdahl was on his way to Watertown and had just spoken to the pool manager. Click on the video link for his live report on what the pool manager had to say.

I was at the Wtn pool and it was 3 off-duty nurses from Prairie Lakes Hospital who did all the resuscitating, not the lifeguards. It wasn't a lifeguard who pulled the girl out, either. It was a guest.
