On April 16th, the trailer home in Huron was surrounded with crime tape, the Division of Criminal Investigation was here along witht the Beadle County Sheriff and of course the Huron Police. But still there have been no arrests in the shooting death of R.J. Hein.

"He was a good person, big heart. He would never judge you from what someone else said bad about you. He'd give you the shirt off his back even if it was dirty." A.J. Jacobs was a good friend of RJ Hein who died after being shot at this trailor home in mid-april. It was the third homicide of the year in huron and is the only one that has yet to be solved.

Beadle County State's Attorney Mike Moore says they've done several interviews since the day of the shooting and are now waiting for the forensic lab in Pierre to complete their testing. "I want to be placed in the best position I can to make the best decision I can and that in this case the more information I have the better decision I can make," said Moore.

The wait has made it tough for A.J. and all he wants now is for justice to be served in this case because he knows he can't get his friend back.. "I can't go one day without hearing something about A.J. You know, he did this he did that, he was crazy. He was always up for anything, he loved life," said Jacobs.
