"Friend" Charged With Stabbing

A Sioux Falls man is recovering at a local hospital tonight after suffering a vicious stab wound to the neck yesterday and police they've charged his friend with the crime.

49 year old Duane Curtis Baas of Sioux Falls is charges with aggravated assault for the crime. Police say Baas stabbed the 49 year old in the neck on North Spring Avenue at about 5:30 yesterday evening.

Police say both men were drunk, but they don't know what led to the stabbing.

I new this would happen my father is a very sick man. I have not talk to him for a very long time. He has a drinking problem and maybe this will help him to change his life around. His drinking problem and his anger problem is what is keeping him and I apart. I love my Father but I hate the man he is. I hate what he has done.
