No Change For Rounds In RGA

Tools

PIERRE, S.D.- A change in leadership for the Republican National Governors Association will likely not mean much for Gov. Mike Rounds.

South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford resigned Wednesday as RGA chairman after admitting to an extra marital affair.

Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour moved from vice chairman to chairman.

Rounds is a member of the association but currently does not hold any officer position.

Rounds press secretary Joe Kafka said it's unlikely that will change, given the Sanford situation.
