Forensic Award Given To Watertown Man

By Associated Press

WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - Former Watertown debate and speech coach Donus Roberts has received a lifetime service award from the National Forensic League.
Current debate and speech coach Scott Walker says it's only the second time the award has been given.
Roberts says he had no idea he was getting the award at the forensic league national tournament in Alabama last month.
He coached at Watertown High School for more than 30 years and retired in 1994.
