Interest High In Wind Turbine ProgramKSFY file image Interest in a new wind turbine program at Mitchell Technical Institute has surpassed expectations. Instructor Stacey Eddy says the program, which offers one- and two-year options, will have 50 students in its first year - double what was expected. Earlier, the Mitchell School Board approved the hiring of a co-instructor. Students who complete the course will be able to diagnose and fix problems in wind turbines. The 2009-2010 school year will be Eddy's first year as instructor of a program he is designing from scratch. © 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
