Fireworks

Fireworks officially on sale to South Dakota residents.

By Carl Pommier

During a twelve-hour period from late July 4 to July 5, Sioux Falls Police received 84 complaint calls about fireworks being set off within city limits.

No citations were issued, though several verbal warnings were given to those people who were found lighting fireworks.

At most calls responded to by police, the offenders were already gone.

Why do people even call the police for firework complaints? It happens the same time every year and is going to continue to happen. If you don't like the sound of fireworks move to another country you whining people. Thats why this country is great, because we can celebrate our freedom and independence. So stop calling the police and wasting there time.
