84 Fireworks Complaints In Sioux Falls

Tools

By KSFY Staff

Luckily, no injuries were reported with all of the fireworks celebrations, but police did receive 84 complaints. A lot of times, the officer couldn't find whoever was lighting off the fireworks, but when they did, they just gave a verbal warning. Cops didn't actually write any tickets, even though lighting fireworks in city limits is against the law.

Um...Seriously? Why even have a law if 1) People don't follow it and 2) You don't uphold it? All this does is say "We Won't Actually Hold You To Our Laws"
