Sioux Falls Police are investigating an armed robbery tonight at the Dollar Bill Casino. It's located at 4920 N. Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls.

At around 7:15 tonight police say a man entered the casino, pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

The robber fired one shot, but luckily no one was injured. Police are looking to make an arrest. If you have any information you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (605) 367-7007 - all calls are confidential.

was he wearing the hoodie and blue bandana over his face like we heard about in the other string of casino robberies?

Anyone proofread these? A guy entered? What about the pollice? Crime Stoppers should be capitalized. Don't arbitrarily use "and" in place of a period. Please tell me this was written by a volunteer and not an actual paid employee of KSFY.

I agree with Nate. If the story is represented as being written by KSFY staff, then it should reflect their standards. The way this article is written indicates that standards are nonexistent. The writers know that their stories will be read by hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Someone is being paid for work that could be done better by a person pulled in from the sidewalk. Who runs the place? Most bosses demand some accountability from their employees.

My boyfriend used to work for KSFY and they always seemed very professional with high standards. I guess the journalism department just got skipped over as far as standards go :) But we all know this. We've been complaining about it for months.

KSFY may be lacking, but at least they're not KDLT. Amateurs.

"Hope you feel better after making all the corrections.." This had nothing to do with making myself feel good. I hate spelling nazis. If it was a post on a public forum its one thing, but to be presented as professional journalism is laughable.
