Last night at about 7:15 PM another casino was robber in Sioux Falls, bringing this years total for attempted robberies and robberies to 11.

Many of those have occurred on 41st street or on the south side of town, but this one was further north, just south of the intersection of Cliff Avenue and Interstate 90.

This was the first robbery or attempted robbery of a casino since June 19th, 16 days ago. Police aren't sure if this is connected to the others. KSFY Action News stopped inside the casino briefly this morning and had a brief conversation with the owner.

During the visit, business seemed as usual and there were a few patrons in the casino enjoying their normal games. The owner, who chose not to be on camera or identified, told us that he wasn't exactly sure what might have happened. He knows that there was a gun shot fired, that broke a window, but wasn't sure if the suspect was inside or outside the casino at that time.

He also said; its an "unfortunate incident, glad no one was injured".
