A downtown Sioux Falls shop owner, dress designer and magazine editor is showing his appreciation for the late king of pop. Editor and chief of lLX Magazine, Hugo Sarmiento put together a spread dedicated to Michael Jackson. The photos portray a female model and Jackson look-alike. The article was created in November in New York and was published this spring in LX Magazine. Hugo says they wanted to do something to honor Jackson's musical ability and now the layout takes on a different appeal because of his untimely death. "We can see that he is a genius in the music industry. I mean, he just happened to die last week so now everybody is talking about him." Since the pop star's passing, Sarmiento has also created a window display in his downtown shop on phillips avenue, which he says he'll keep up as long as long as there is interest.
