Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Plankinton

A Sioux Falls woman died late yesterday afternoon near Plankinton at aproximately 5:15 PM.

Carol M. Donat a 64 year old Sioux Falls resident was driving east on highway 90 through a constuction zone, on a 2009 Harley Davidson where she drifted into westbound lane of on coming traffic.

The driver of a Ford van had collided with her, loosing control and swerveing into the eastbound lane hitting a Honda Civic.

Carol Donat was not wearing a helmet, and died at the scene of the accident.

Both of the drivers were wearing seat belts and recieved minor injuries.
