I recently met Ann, in fact, I only knew her for a week or so while she was up at UND with students for a research program. I was amazed by her generosity and how dedicated she was to her students. She was a very positive and caring person, and I so enjoyed her visits. Her death is a huge loss to the school and the students she loved. She was a gift.

I've known Ann for several years and came to see that she had many good qualities and will be sorely missed. She cared deeply about the kids she taught, she loved music, and she loved anything that involved both of those things. It's a sad loss for her students and fellow staff...
