Last Night's Storm Sends Trees Into Beresford, SD Homes

Today was a day of clean-up in Beresford, SD. After last night's storm sent trees and other pieces of debris into cars and homes.
Fred Shubeck a Beresford resident said heavy winds came with last night's storm, so much so that his wife wanted to go down to the basement at one point.
Shubeck said, "I thought it was raining but I guess it was just mostly debris and dust blowing. And I saw this one big tree go down on the North of the house. And then I looked again a few minutes later, that's when this tree South of the house went down."
Police in Beresford say a number a power lines were knocked down, and officials were working today to restore the electricity.
