24-year-old Adrian Glass arrived back in Alabama this morning.

He was arrested Wednesday near Kennebec. He had been named a person of interest in connection with a double murder investigation.

Today, his status changed as Alabama authorities have now charged glass with two counts of murder: Investigators believe Glass killed his parents last Friday in their Moody, Alabama home.

The family photographs tell the life story of Jimmy and Denise Glass.

But it's the tragic ending, the unthinkable last moments of their lives that overshadow everything right now. Gaye Austin is a Glass family friend. "I just can't believe it. Just can't believe it. I mean I'm just...I'm just sick to my stomach."

Adrian Edward Glass returned to Alabama in shackles. He is charged with two counts of capital murder; one day earlier he missed his parents funeral. In fact he'd been missing since last Friday when police found their bodies, each shot several times in their own bed.

Police first arrested Glass on Wednesday in South Dakota for a parole violation.. then came two murder charges.

Did the couple's only son kill his parents?

A preliminary hearing on September 29th will set a trial in motion.

Until then, not only is the crime unthinkable, but to family friends like Gaye Austin, it's also unforeseeable. "She never never mentioned a problem at home. Now that's hard for people to believe but that is the truth."

Alabama authorities are tight lipped tonight as to what motive Adrian Glass might have had kill his parents.

I just can't believe this, I have known Adrian for years. I knew his father too, may he rest in peace. He was a good father, a loving husband, and a great man. He was the type of guy who would do anything he could to help you. I just can't believe that Adrian could do something like this. It leaves me speechless. I just wish that I could've done something to prevent it.
