Car Collides With Horse, Driver and Horse Killed

A man has been killed after hitting a horse while driving near Kimball.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, 18 year old Caleb N. Weber was heading east on 250th street in Brule County just northwest of Kimball early Sunday Morning. Apparently, Weber hit a horse on the road and drove into the ditch.

The horse was killed and Weber was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under the investigation of the South Dakota Highway Patrol and the Brule County Sheriff's Department.
