Watertown Man Sentenced For Child Rape

A former Watertown man has been sentenced to 150 years in the State Penitentiary after being found guilty of raping a minor. Matthew Borchert who lists his address as Nassau, Minnesota was sentenced in Codington County to a pair of 75-year prison terms for two counts of first-degree rape. The terms will be served consecutively. Borchert maintains his innocence.
