Many consider South Dakota the "Saudi Arabia" of wind power.

But the state's wind energy industry may suffer a huge setback after the proposed Big Stone II Power Plant, set to be built in Milbank. hit a problem of its own.

That problem: one of the project's financial backers has walked away from it.

Part of Big Stone II would have included the construction of next-generation power lines necessary to get wind energy from turbines to homes.

South Dakota Public Utilities Commission Chairman Dusty Johnson joined us live on Monday's KSFY Action News Live At 10.
