By Cliff Chandler

After months waiting, progress has been made in the 4th of July horse theft case in Ft. Pierre, SD.

Stanley County State's Attorney Tom Maher Jr. has told KSFY Action News that an arrest warrant has been issued for Flint David Dahl, 22, of Fort Pierre.

According to court paperwork, Dahl was seen trying to put a saddle on the horse in front of Dahl's Saddle Shop in Ft. Pierre on the morning of July 5th. Court paperwork also states that Flint was seen riding the horse through town in the early morning hours of July 5th. The horse appeared to be injured and bleeding from its legs.
