Mayors Want Drivers Exam Stations Back

Last Thursday, the State of South Dakota closed drivers exam stations in three cities: Beresford, Canton and Clear Lake as a way to ease strains on the state budget. For the mayors of these three cities, the move is disheartening. One of them tells action news, small towns are once again paying the price for tight government finances. Beresford mayor Jim Fedderson is asking the Department of Public Safety to re-store the station.
