There are 100 homeless veterans living on the streets of Sioux Falls. Part of their life was once committed to serving this country, and now they can't find a home in the country they gave so much for.

Norbert Goodteacher fought in the Korean War and has lived on the reservation, Chicago and, for the past 12 years, in Sioux Falls. He says that most homeless people are looking to rebound in their lives.

"They want to get back on their feet and they want to help themselves like I did. A lot of them have an alcohol problem or something, I had an alcohol problem back in my younger days too."

Norbert said the worst thing about being homeless was the cold winter months that lie ahead.
