(Grand Forks, N.D.) USF head football coach Kalen DeBoer said his team had a good week of practice leading up to Saturday's game at North Dakota. He told KSFY that he just wanted the guys to have some fun and boy did the Cougars have fun Saturday.

USF is a school that's fought hard to earn respect from fans from this area. It's a program that's often the butt of a lot of jokes, but this win should help out tremendously.

To put this win in perspective, North Dakota has 65 scholarshiped players---USF has 24. DeBoer called Saturday's win the programs biggest.
"You know there's the championships that are pretty important to our program, but this game had a little special flavor to it. To come out with a win tonight, it's pretty special."

USF has won 21 straight games and will host Dakota Wesleyan Saturday at Bob Young Field.
